Job Description

As a Power BI Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. Your expertise in Power BI will be instrumental in developing interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that empower stakeholders across the organization.

• The ability to choose appropriate visualizations and metrics, that represent the data clearly, comprehensively, and correctly, without misleading the reader.
• The ability to provide buttons, links, and filters for navigating and exploring data reports.
• Knowledge of the data visualization capabilities and limitations of Power BI.
• Basic visual design skills.
• The ability to publish data reports on Power BI service.
• The ability to set up data source authentication on Power BI service.
• The ability to set up scheduled data refresh.
• Give users appropriate access levels for viewing, editing, sharing, or administering the reports and dashboards.
• Provide access using links, including links that are restricted to specific people and specific usage permissions.
• Provide links inside reports to send the user to other Power BI reports.
• Limit access to specific data (row-level security), or specific pages of the report for specific users or groups of users.

Requirements:

• The ability to connect data from various sources including Microsoft Excel files and OneDrive folders.
• The ability to fix errors that arise from incorrectly formatted data or incompatible transformations.
• The ability to transform data into appropriate structures and data types for Power BI.
• The ability to make relationships between data from different data tables.
• The ability to create custom tables, columns and measures in the data. Including                  understanding the difference between a calculated column and a measure, and when one of them cannot work.
