Job Description

The lead Power Supply Engineer, participates in the design review and engineering team, leading systems activities under the supervision of the Senior Power Supply Engineer and in coordination with the project key stakeholders.

• Strong technical background experience in railway Power supply systems/sub-systems
• Responsible for reviewing all aspects of the design review process within the consultant’s organizational
• Reviewing all the Technical specifications, Reviewing the design & Shop dwgs. / docs. and Specs of electrical (LV) systems for the project, and Infra? Structure (i.e. Lighting System , Street Lighting System ,Power System, LV Cable Routing, LV Schematic Diagrams, Lightning, Earthing and Panel Board Schedules & all Martial Submitted For LV system.
• Supporting and Senior Power Supply engineer and other team during deliver the contractual deliverable according to the approved design, technical specs, and quality standards, installation and T&C activities.
• Fully understand the Power systems and sub-systems network connectivity in railway/transport industry, and responsible to provide different technical. reports: progress, system’s failure, snag clearance and punch list.
• Collaborating closely with the project team to deliver the contractual deliverable according to the approved design, technical specs, and quality standards.
• Support project team / Senior on technical issues on site (FAT/SAT) till closure.

Requirements:

• BSc degree in Electrical Engineering
• For Lead Power Supply Engineer positions (National)
• General overall experience (10) years including
• 5 years of professional experience in the same field.
• 5 years of experience in management and implementation of similar projects (i.e. metro, rail) and in a similar position.
• He/She will have knowledge of the main railway systems used in the Metro and the safety requirements for the designs, according to international standards and accepted best practice.
• Native proficiency would be an advantage
• Bilingual proficiency
• Strong communications, coordination, and management skills
