Job Description
- Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Â Allocate sections to Room Attendants and Public Area Attendants
- Â Maintaining Lost & Found records and closets, delivery of lost items to past guests
- Â Preparation of Housekeeping documents, forms and memorandums
- Â Ensure professional standards of the Housekeeping staff is upheld
- Â Work closely with the Assistant Manager – administration to ensure utmost organization in the department
- Â Act as a liaison between guest, other departments and the Housekeeping team to ensure all request are actioned in a timely manner
- Â Review staffing levels daily and monitor productivity
- Â Communicate office supply levels to ensure resources are available
- Â Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the hotel health and safety program
- Â Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required
- Â Other reasonable duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Â Previous experience as a Housekeeping Coordinator is an assets
- Â Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Property Management System is essential
- Â Able to maintain the utmost professionalism and confidentiality under pressure and sometimes-distracting environment
- Â Proven ability to efficiently delegate tasks to colleagues and leaders
- Â High School Diploma
