Job Description
The Operations Manager (OM) leads salon staff towards maximizing sales, productivity and profit goals, while promoting overall salon safety, quality guest services in a harmonious work environment with a wide variety of personality types.
The Operations Manager oversees and contributes to the day-to-day operations of the salons. The OM works closely with and reports directly to the Management team performing all duties as deemed necessary in accordance with the policies and procedures set forth by the Company.
- Â Training, and supervising salon staff and creating work schedules and managing staff shifts.
- Â Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback.
- Â Addressing staff concerns and fosters a positive working environment.
- Â Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.
- Â Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining service standards.
- Â Handling customer complaints and resolving issues promptly and building relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
- Â Managing the inventory of salon products, equipment and ordering supplies and negotiating with suppliers to get the best deals.
- Â Ensuring that salon equipment is properly maintained and functional.
- Â Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new clients.
- Promoting salon services and offers with the marketing team.
- Preparing regular reports on salon performance, including financial, staff performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Â Analyzing business data to identify areas for improvement and growth.
Requirements:
- Â Possess at least 3-5 years management experience in beauty and wellness industries. (Prior salon/spa experience is preferred)
- Â Excellent leadership and customer service skills, and a strong understanding of salon management.
- Â Strong leadership, organizational, and motivational skills.
- Â Goal oriented and career driven.
- Â Ability to successfully hire, train and develop a winning team.
- Â Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Â Exceptional customer service and refined people skills
- Â Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and excellent organizational skills.
