Job Description

The Electrical Supervisor (Nuclear) will oversee the planning, organization, and execution of work within the defined scope to meet performance and productivity targets. This role is crucial for supporting major equipment maintenance and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and procedural standards in a nuclear environment. Candidates should be available to join by January 25th for the next planned outage.

  •  Control and assist in developing maintenance windows for major equipment to support Shutdown Management.
  •  Prioritize and allocate maintenance resources to optimize component work, reporting progress to component engineering management.
  •  Conduct toolbox talks, pre-job briefs, and deliver safety communications.
  •  Enforce quality standards by implementing procedures, resolving issues in cooperation with quality engineers, and promoting high standards of workmanship.
  •  Address first-line disciplinary, grievance, and performance management issues.
  •  Exhibit strong leadership and knowledge of mechanical fitting activities, company policies, and procedures.
  •  Provide feedback on training program effectiveness and evaluate operator performance to enhance training and qualification quality.
  •  Provide regular updates on work progress to management.
  •  Health, Safety, and Security
  •  Follow all Health, Safety, and Security policies to ensure safe work practices and compliance.
  •  Maitain compliance with Crisis Management and Business Continuity requirements to support mission-critical activities.
  •  8 hours per day, 6 days a week.
  •  Pre-outage work hours: 40-48 hours per week, as per client requirements.
  •  During outage: 72 hours per week.
  •  Overtime is applicable after 48 hours.
  •  Single-status contract.
  •  Duration of 3 months per outage, extendable for each subsequent outage.
  •  Basic salary: 60% of total salary.
  •  Site allowance: 30% of total salary.
  •  Shift allowance: 10% of total salary.
  •  Overtime rate applies on basic salary.
  •  Food, accommodation, and transportation provided by the company (client-provided) at the project site.

    Requirements:
  •  Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  •  Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Nuclear Power Plant outage environments, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  •  Familiarity with SAP/Primavera and understanding of international standards for maintenance programs.
  •  Experience in valve operations, heavy lifts, and power plant activities.
  •  Strong interpersonal, communication, and team management skills.
  •  Ability to make technical decisions under pressure, especially during breakdown maintenance and shutdowns.
  •  Knowledge of nuclear safety procedures and practices.
  •  In-depth knowledge of nuclear safety procedures.
  •  Man-management skills and effective team coordination.
  •  Proficiency in confined space and radiation safety practices (requires certification).
