Job Description

  •  Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  •  Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  •  Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
  •  Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  •  Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
  •  Manage cash flow, monitor cash positions, and ensure the company meets its financial obligations.
  •  Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  •  Analyze financial data and prepare reports to present to senior management, highlighting key insights and trends.
  •  Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and oversee tax reporting and planning.
  •  Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and drive financial performance.
    Requirements:
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, etc.) is preferred.
  •  Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior accounting role, preferably within the real estate sector.
  •  Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  •  Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  •  Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  •  Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills are essential.
  •  Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  •  Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  •  Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
