We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Welding Inspector to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our welding operations. You will be responsible for performing inspections, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining the highest level of safety and quality. This position offers the opportunity to work with a team of skilled professionals in a dynamic environment, contributing to various projects across multiple sectors.

• Conduct thorough inspections of welded materials and components to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
•  Review and interpret welding procedure specifications (WPS), and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
•  Utilize various inspection techniques, including visual, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant testing, to assess weld quality.
•  Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation, highlighting any non-conformance and recommending corrective actions.
•  Collaborate with welding teams to provide feedback on welding practices and offer guidance for improvement.
•  Participate in quality assurance audits and assist in the development of quality control plans.
•  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to welding and fabrication.
•  Provide training and mentorship to junior inspectors and welding personnel on best practices and inspection techniques.
•  Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure that welding and fabrication activities align with project timelines and specifications.
•  Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the workplace.
  

  Requirements:

•  Proven experience as a Welding Inspector in a similar industry, with a strong understanding of welding processes and techniques.
•  Possession of relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), CSWIP, or equivalent.
•  In-depth knowledge of welding codes and standards (such as ASME, ASTM, ISO, etc.) and inspection methodologies.
•  Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex technical information and make informed decisions.
•  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey inspection results and collaborate with team members.
•  Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards.
•  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
•  Familiarity with industry-specific tools and equipment used in welding inspection.
•  Proficiency in using computer software for report writing and data management.
•  Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
