Job Description
Our newest opportunity is for a talented Document Controller , seconded to our Client from government sector in Doha, Qatar.
- Preparing and managing correspondence, reports and documents.
- Â Organizing and coordinating meetings, conferences, travel arrangements.
- Â Taking minutes, developing and distributing minutes of meetings.
- Â Collating information, documents compilations and submissions.
- Â Receiving, checking, recording and filing all technical and non-technical documents as per company policy and procedures and keep under safe custody.
- Â Coordinating with the team in order to ensure that documents are kept in the right place and in right department file archive.
- Â Ensuring all incoming and outgoing documents are controlled, disseminated and filed correctly.
- Â Ensuring all the unit’s documents are checked and submitted on time prior to their submission due date.
- Â Inputting document data into required registers to whom they have been issued, date and distribute as appropriate.
- Â Providing document control reports as requested, reviewing progress and pointing out errors or delays or issues to relevant parties.
- Â Liaising with subject matter experts on technical subjects in a positive, collaborative manner to prepare controlled documents.
- Â Scanning and photocopying documents as required.
- Â Ensuring adherence to Health and Safety policy and procedures within the workplace and comply with new work instructions.
Requirements:
- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 6+ years of relevant experience partnered with a M inimum Diploma or Equivalent in relevant subject .
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar position.
- Â Knowledge and experience of relevant software applications including spreadsheets and database management.
- Â Knowledge of administrative, clerical procedures and business principles.
- Â Proficiency in Spelling, punctuation, grammar and other English language skills.
- Â Proven expereince of producing correspondence and documents.
- Â Proven experience in information and communication management.
- Â Required typing speed.
- Â Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
- Â Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken.
Bilingual candidates (English and Arabic) will be preferred favorably.
