Job Description
• Provide technical support and assist with the coordination of design and construction activities for the bridge project.
• Review and analyze technical documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare and submit technical reports, shop drawings, and material submittals to ensure timely approval and compliance.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve any technical issues or discrepancies that may arise on-site.
• Assist in the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans, ensuring technical resources are allocated efficiently.
• Support the preparation and review of method statements, risk assessments, and construction procedures.
• Ensure that all project documentation is well-organized, accurate, and up to date, including project drawings, change orders, and technical reports.
• Monitor construction progress and quality, ensuring that technical standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
•Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and project close-out documentation.
• Work closely with the QA/QC team to ensure that all technical and engineering standards are followed on-site.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Bridge Engineering (or related field).
• At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Proven experience working on bridge construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Experience with project scheduling, cost estimation, and procurement.
• Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
• Ability to solve complex technical issues and provide practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction-related software.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
