We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Coating Inspector to join our team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that coating applications are performed according to industry standards and client specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of coating processes, materials, and quality assurance practices. As a Coating Inspector, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and quality of our projects, ensuring that all coatings meet the required performance criteria while adhering to safety regulations.

•  Conduct thorough inspections of coating applications on various structures and components to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
•  Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and technical documents related to coating processes.
•  Monitor surface preparation and coating application activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures.
•  Perform visual inspections and non-destructive testing of coatings to assess their quality and adherence to specifications.
•  Document inspection results, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings to project managers and stakeholders.
•  Provide recommendations for corrective actions when coating deficiencies are identified.
  Collaborate closely with contractors, project teams, and other stakeholders to ensure effective
• communication and resolution of issues.
•  Stay updated on industry trends, new coating materials, and technologies to provide informed recommendations and improvements.
•  Participate in project meetings and provide input on coating-related matters.
•  Ensure compliance with relevant safety and environmental regulations during all inspection processes.
  

  Requirements:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Material Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
•  Proven experience as a Coating Inspector or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry.
•  Certification from recognized organizations such as NACE or BGAS is highly desirable.
•  Strong knowledge of coating materials, processes, and inspection techniques.
•  Familiarity with relevant standards such as SSPC, ISO, and ASTM related to coating applications.
•  Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
•  Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
•  Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment, as well as basic computer skills for report generation.
•  Willingness to travel within the UAE and work on various job sites as required.
