Job Description

Our client is a global mining company with the vision to be the world’s most diversified quarrying company.

The objective for the next five years is to increase global growth opportunities that the natural stone market offers by increasing the production in the current operational quarries. Operationalizing the other additional natural stone quarries, processing the natural stones within their network and combined the extension and strengthening of their distribution network in the Middle East and Europe, among others.

  •  End to end Finance responsibility for Iran and Dubai and Commerce business
  • Develop and implement the finance priorities in line with the business objectives
  •  Streamlining and optimizing finance and business processes and controls – putting a strong finance foundation in place
  •  Taking care of financial reports (focusing on from data, to reporting and insights), budgets, and cash flow analyses
  •  Developing/setting up project / business control
  •  Leading and building the finance departments based in Iran and Dubai and potentially Asia
  •  Advising the MD and shareholders on investment opportunities and strategic choices
  •  Managing relationships with external financial partners, such as banks, auditors and investors
  •  Be responsible for complying with laws and regulations.
    Requirements:
  •  Fluent Farsi speaker
  •  At least a university degree in Finance, Business Economics or a similar field
  •  Chartered Accountant is an advantage
  •  At least 10 years of relevant work experience in a finance position, of which at least 3 years at management level
  •  Proven experience in financial planning, control, and accounting & reporting (setting up and further developing)
  •  Experience in professionalizing a finance department
  •  Excellent business partner who switches effortlessly between strategy and operations
  •  Experience in a fast-growing organization is an advantage
  •  Hands-on, socially skilled and able to bind and convince people
  •  Proactive, curious and result-driven
  •  Ambition to continuously improve yourself and thus the potential to grow in the long term
  •  Work in a structured way and has a “getting things done” mentality. Likes varied work, but also don’t immediately drop out if several activities are repetitive. In short, a go-getter
  •  Proactive and a self-starter
  •  Certain seniority and able to draw conclusions independently, dare to make decisions and are accountable for them
