Job Description

Regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain, our client offers a range of financial solutions, including alternative investments and treasury & capital markets services. They are currently looking to hire an Assistant Manager for Investment to be based in Bahrain.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of preliminary investment analysis.
• Preparation of investment proposals.
• Assist in appointment and coordination with counterparties.
• Preparation of investment summary document.
• Maintenance of filing and meeting notes.
• Other tasks assigned by the management.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Protect the Firm’s privacy by keeping the information and plans confidential.
• Perform any other relevant duties as may be required and requested by the Management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study such as business, finance, accounting etc., with a preference for a Master’s degree or other professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, CIMA etc. related to banking/accounting.
• Has 5 years of practical experience in the financial sector in the region.
• Efficient; able to produce significant output with minimal wasted effort.
• Strong attention to detail while producing accurate and high-quality work.
• Good communication skills; able to communicate financial information to non-finance employees, especially the management team.
• Takes a critical and methodical approach when problem solving.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
