To teach this curriculum, teachers must hold a valid Alberta teaching certificate. The initial step is obtaining an Interim Professional Certificate (IPC), which requires:

•  Completion of a minimum of four years of university education and a recognized degree.
•  At least 48 semester-hour credits in teacher education coursework.
•  A minimum of 10 weeks of supervised student teaching.
•  Inspire and guide students by delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Alberta curriculum.

  Requirements:

•  A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate (Interim or Permanent).
•  A degree in Education or a related field.
