Job Description

an experienced, energetic and strategic General Manager to lead and drive growth for two distinct group companies within our group. The group is a 100% Omani owned private group of 6 companies.

The first company specializes in pest control, cleaning and chemical trading in both the B2B and B2C sectors. Strong brand and track record since 1975. The new GM will be responsible for creating the path and taking the business to the next level.

The second company is small and has been operating since 1986, traditionally suppling instrumentation and associated services to education, industry and government. There is significant potential. The GM will find opportunities to expand this and grow the company into new verticals, especially oil & gas and associated services.

This is a high-impact role requiring a dynamic leader to develop and execute strategies, create and manage sales, oversee operations, and ensure profitability across both businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement growth strategies for both companies, aligning with market trends and organizational goals.
• P&L Management: Oversee financial performance, ensuring each company meets profitability targets and drives sustainable revenue growth.
• Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high-quality service delivery in pest control, chemical trading, and technology services.
• Team Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and build strong teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably but not necessarily within similar industries.
• Strong strategic planning, sales, operational, and financial management skills.
• Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance management.
• Hands on and sleeves rolled up.

Required skills
