Job Description

As the Director of Culinary / Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations at Sofitel Bahrain, ensuring the highest standards of quality, innovation, and guest satisfaction. 

  •  Developing and implementing creative and visually stunning menus that showcase your culinary expertise and passion for gastronomy
  •  Mentoring and inspiring a team of talented chefs, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  •  Ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of culinary operations, including budgeting, inventory control, and staff scheduling
  •  Collaborating with the hotel’s management team to align the culinary program with the overall brand vision and guest experience
  •  Representing Sofitel Bahrain at industry events, culinary competitions, and media engagements to promote the hotel’s culinary reputation.
Requirements:
  •  Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a senior culinary leadership role within a luxury hotel or resort
  •  Exceptional knowledge of global cuisine and a demonstrated ability to create innovative, visually stunning, and delectable dishes
  •  Strong team-building and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing culinary team
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
  •  Proven track record of successfully managing culinary operations, including budgeting, cost control, and inventory management
  •  Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
